New Blue Earth Roundtable
168x160home New Blue Earth Roundtable is Swiss registered non-profit organization founded in September 2009. We believe that a critical mass of people are required to bring about a ‘New Blue Earth’ which can contribute to the creation of a more sustainable, just and fulfilling world in harmony with nature and with each other.

We envisage humanity will evolve from its current status to a planetary eco-civilization via individual and collective transformation which could be accelerated by and through societal, economic and environmental shifts and modifications, among others which could be further impacted by global crises such as financial market downturns, pandemics, droughts, famines and a general change of climate globally.

We are therefore calling upon a critical mass of people to establish integral Sustainable Communities around the globe and to contribute to the development of a new Eco-civilization that can encourage cohesive Cooperative -living in Harmony, Creativity and Scientific Development.

In order to participate and contribute to our network and share your best practices, be inspired, encourage others, and receive tips and answers from this growing community please consider registering and joining us in this honorable venture.

It gives me great pleasure to invite you to attend a special program kindly hosted by Lord Parekh and coordinated by the Universal Peace Federation on the theme, "What Values Should Define Sustainable Growth?” We would like to consider if the economic recession is a symptom rather than a cause of a deeper malaise: a crisis of values. The economic growth of the developing world, especially led by middle income BRIC nations, will cause huge problems if they assume (along with western nations continuing to use) the western model of reliance on Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Per Capita Income etc to assess growth, prosperity and well-being. This will explore how by adopting green lifestyles we can compensate for increasingly high priced traditional goods and services while ensuring that our planet’s resources can cope with the higher aspirations of a growing proportion of humanity. It will also consider how to evaluate well-being and happiness alongside GDP and other traditional assessments of prosperity.
We very much hope that you will be able to participate in this conference. Kindly RSVP to the contact details below to reserve your place as places are limited. We very much look forward to seeing on July 6th.

Yours sincerely

Robin Marsh:
Secretary General,
Universal Peace Federation
